my zebra finch just hatched 3 eggs. I think male finch is throwing them out of the nest. Is that possible? should I separate them? Are the moms suppose sit on the newly hatched birds. do they instinctively know to take care of them ?

How old are the parent birds and how many do you have in the cage together? (In the meantime, no, do not try to separate them.)
