My Yellow-crested Amazon parrot, age 3 1/2 yrs has just developed diarrhea. There is no longer a vet in my area to care for my bird. What should I do? Her appetite is picky. Her stools have been well formed until now. Thanks for your help!

Hi Linda. Do you mean Yellow Head Amazon? How long as this diarrhea been going on? What does her normal dailey diet include? Also, if you can give me an idea of your general location, I'll see what I can find for you so far as avian vets go. You don't have to be specific. The nearest large city will do, or your zip code. Thanks, Patricia
