Question

My seven year old German Shepherd has developed an area of ...

Sent to Pet Experts September 04, 2006 2:28 p.m.

My seven year old German Shepherd has developed an area of depigmentation her nose. The color of the tissue on her nose arond the nostril has rather abruptly changed from black to pink, and may be spreading slightly. There does not appear to be any irritation or inflamation, and the change does not seem to discomfit her--the altered appearance is of some concern to me, the owner. Thanks for any help or advice.
