my 9 month old golden retreiver's righ eye shuts

my 9 month old golden retreiver's righ eye shuts on him and he does not open it. he does not act like anything is wrong. he does not seem to have any control over this and looks awful.

Age: 1; Male; Breed: golden retriever

Already Tried:
nothing, it just started yesterday. he came in from the cold 27 degrees and there was a little bit of snow. it was the coldest its ever been so far for him. he came in and his right eye shut on him. his pupils were even with each other and there did not seem to be any swelling. after a while his eye was ok. but then it happened again
