My boxers have bumps all over there body, and are really red. my vet says it's allergies, but not sure. Do you know what it could be?

Just by the defination you gave, it does sound like it could be allergies, pets can break out in hives if they encounter something they are allegic to. If the bumps are red and are devloping pus pockets and crusties around them, then it could be a bacterial infection of the skin and if thats the case then you may need to talk to your veterinarian about possibly adding oral antibiotics to help resolve the situation.
