Question

bunnys left front paw is broke. help

Sent to Pet Experts June 17, 2006 12:49 p.m.

Our three month old bunny got her left front paw in the door. Our dog vet said they do not set broken legs on rabbits. Is that true. It is broke obove the joint. WE   got antibiotics to give her. If we keep her quiet and in a small cage with close attention. do you think her chances of having a good bunny life are favorable? I heard this should take about on month of mending. Do you think WE are on the right track?   please help we love her.
