My horse was boarded out for 2 months. i noticed that ...

My horse was boarded out for 2 months. i noticed that he was becoming very lethargic no fever no drainage and he was eating good. I brought him home and he remains the same also his back legs are dragging. He does not run or play? I can not find any obvious signs of injury. He is 2y/o paintOptional Information: Age: 2; Male; Breed: horse paintAlready Tried: I have been giving him better feed hay water bathing him .

No . Like colic? he does not do much with his back legs. He use to be the most playful horse I thought he was depressed? He was around 5 other male larger horses he was bit about his body.

It is possible that, now knowing that he was with a group of other larger MALE horses, and sustained some injury, that it could be spinal related. The spine could have been bruised during rough housing or fighting. Please call your equine veterinarian and have him checked out. Good luck and I hope this helps

If the spine is bruised then it should heal? I do not see any misalignment. He looks unhappy. I have been giving him bute for pain. I will call the vet.

I think it might be worms because of all the horse that is on the farm. We will have to wait and see. I do not see him getting any worse at this point but he looks so tired.
