If you have tried some hairball remedy it is possible she has something caught in her throat or has an upper respiratory infection as usually by two days the hairball comes up unless she is unable to effectively get it out. If you feel it is a hairball I would give her some more hairball medication and if she does not produce the hairball and continues this behavior you might want to have her seen by your veterinarian to rule out any illness or infection.
