my week old german shepherd female pup was diagnosed with

My 15 week old German Shepherd female pup was diagnosed with PDA which led to an enlarged heart. They said through surgery, the PDA can be corrected but the enlarged heart may cause issues down the road... I am worried about the dogs quality of life. Do you have any advice?
