My 7 year old german shorthair pointer and I just returned from a pheasant hunting trip in S. Dakota. We hunted for 2 days. We've been back 3 days. My dog has been kind of depressed and lethargic since we returned--just not his old, engergetic self. He's not as enthusiastic about eating, although he eats all of both of his meals each day, drinks plenty of water, and seems to be defecating fine. At first I though he may be suffering some aftereffects of heat exhaustion (it got pretty hot while we were there), but could the effects last this long?
