Sent to Pet Experts October 02, 2005 11:52 p.m.

My Border Collie female had her 1st litter of pups. Just before I started to wean her at 5 weeks, she started to lose a little hair.. which is normal. However, now, 3 weeks later she has lost alot more around her back legs and back and itches at her scaling dry skin. I have not changed her diet and I only bathe her 2-3 times a month with mild dog shampoo. Is there anything I can do for her? At this rate she'll be bald in a couple of weeks!! Thank you.
