hair loss

my cat will be 2 in Aug. black long haired domestic. She was fixed when she was 6 months and since then she has lost her hair from the middle to her tail including her hind legs. The vet thought it was allergies, she had her skin tested, she was on allergy medicing, changed her food and litter. Nothing is working.
