Sent to Pet Experts March 28, 2005 9:36 p.m.

My 12 yr old persain male cat has been very ill for 8 weeks, high fever 106.2 for 1 week, took to vet, antibiotics given, forced feeding him, was hospitilized for 5 days on IV, more antibiotics tetrecyline, not eating or drinking, lost 5 lbs, now is 6 lbs. Does he have cancer? Is an ultrsound the next step?

Cancer usually doesn't cause the fever...what does the bloodwork show?

Both blood work tests are normal. His fever is now 103.1, I got more tetrecycline but vet says it maybe internal as my other persain did not catch it. I am feed ing him 3 times a day 20cc's each feeding a/d science diet. What else can I do?
