With both ear cleaner and earmite medication...if it is a true infection (which it sounds like) you may be causing more bad than good.

Do not do anything to the ear for now, you are in real need of veterinary help.  I recommend getting in tomorrow ASAP...ear infections are very painful and can lead to loss of hearing.  Your vet will also look at he bleeding issue, but there is nothing at home now, ear cleaner would just complicate the issue.

Let me know if you need further help.

I can only imagine that there may be an accompanying affection around the ears that has the skin inflammed and oozing.  Dogs get blood accumulation in the flap of the ear from the shaking of the ears and if that ruptures there is a bunch of blood.  Was the swelling immediate like an allergic reaction or has the ears been bothering him and this is a progressive state?

I just feel you have two things going on...a significant ear infection and then secondary skin infection around the ear... It is really hard to be for sure without seeing it.

I think if the dog allows you, you can use some warm water and hydrogen peroxide to try to clean...but again...a visit to the vet needs to happen so you can get the correct medications.
