bleeding paws

I have a stasfordshire terrier approx.5yrs.for the last 2-3days hes been excessivly licking his feet & toes and has them bleeding what can I do.please help me.

Could you please answer -

does your dog frequent grassy or field areas outside your yard?

Have you inspected his paws, pads, and toes for any foreign objects?

Are his paws also swollen?

nothing in the paws that I can find
yes,his feet are puffy/swollen.I figured thats from him licking some much.
would a dog like mine do this as a obsecsive/compulsive condition.or like from bad nerves type of thing.
