tape worm

i dont know how to work this web site, my dog is very sick and i need to know what it is... does he have a tape worm? hes eating excessivly, but loosing 20lbs in 3 weeks, eating his stool, and acting unusualy hyper, can u help me please, we cant afford a vet...

i answered them , im sorry i dont know how to work this, will it notify me when u respond?/ he is apx 10 yrs old, neutered, and maybe 3 months over due, we had changed his dog food brand recently but have gone back since this problem occured..

Wow and I was going to guess Shep...They tend to have lower bowel issues that require a special enzmye from your vet in their diet. I would have your vet check the stool for that but in the mean time, I would feed him something blanf like boiled hamburger and white rice to see if that helps friim them up but you reall need to find the underlying cause so a vet visit is really needed at some point soon.Good Luck!

is there anything we can do w/o a vet visit, we cant really afford it right now with the holidays here.... should we give him just hamburgers and rice or the dog food also??
