Has he been vaccinated with his set of puppy shots?  What about deworming treatment?  Eating/drinking okay?

Hi

Thanks for replying, he has had his puppy shots but I think he probably needs deworming again. He is eating and drinking okay.

Many times, with straining with diarrhea, there will be blood. As long as parasites are ruled out which can be done by dropping a stool sample off at your vet, I would try some boiled hamburger and white rice for a few days and see if this helps. Its a bland diet so it will give her system a chance to settle down. He may have eaten something that just upset his little system.
Good Luck!
