I have a young mouse that has developed breathing problems. She seems to be gasping, opening her mouth in a pulsating rhythm. She was making a clicking sound until I tried rubbing a small dab of "Vicks" on my palm and putting her in my sweatshirt pocket. These are her only symptoms. Appetite is great, energy good, and eyes are bright. She hops to my hand to come out of her cage. Bedding was changed from Aspen to "Carefresh" AFTER symptoms started (as recommended by vet over the phone). Am I dealing with pnuemonia or, since no other symptoms present, something else? I want to what I can to help her w/o an arm and a leg at the vet for a $2 mouse! Thank you for any help, Carrie for "Angelina" the mouse
