My pets have always been well taking care of thru my vet ...

My pets have always been well taking care of thru my vet ,,now that i am on a medical leave and handicap... i can not go to the vet ..never have my pets had fleas and are indoor dogs ...i now have found a flea on one of them ...he is a terrer-poo the other is a bischon-poo ,,,her and i are both allergic..can i make a home remedy until i am able to get to my vet....i just had surgery and can hardly move ,,,(wires in my back for the nerves)..PLEASE HELP !!!!!!! jude
