DIERREA WITH BLOOD

My 2 year old Lab just had dierrea and there is blood in it. What do you think caused it and how should I treat?

Response to ZooCVT's Post: He had had diarrhea a few times in the 4 months I have had him - never saw any blood, though. The only things he chews are rawhide bones - he tears them up pretty hard.
