Our rabbit recently died very suddenly (15 -16 hours) after getting diarrhea.
He continually "leaked" diarrhea during the day, we tried to keep him cool, fed and hydrated.
We had been administering as much water as was possible, even tried pro bio yoghurt, however, lethargy set in and our rabbit went into fits prior to passing.
My wife blames herself, althoiugh we did contact the vet on 4 occasions prior to visiting after his passing to confirm he had gone. my wife seems to think that we were negligent in not forcing the issue and going to the vets, I am not sure.
