Question

Red Ear slider hatchling

Sent to Pet Experts August 21, 2006 11:14 p.m.

Hello, About a month ago my little sister bought me a baby red ear slider. I did not know that it was illegal for them to be purchased. Anyway I had one that died and am trying to nurse one to good health. I bought the turtle a uv light but didn't do it right away. I noticed tonight that his shell is a little soft. Is there anything I can do or is it too late?

Optional Information:
Age: <1; Breed: auatic turtle

Already Tried:
I have purchased a uv light but am worried that I did it too late.
