Question

my 11 month old pit bull pup has diahrea, is there

Sent to Pet Experts August 13, 2006 10:35 a.m.

my 11 month old pit bull pup has diahrea, is there anything I can give her to at least slow it down?   What are the major causes of gastro int. problems. My husband just left to go back to sea. It's the first time since we've had her. Could this be caused by stress?

Try giving her boiled hamburger and white rice for a few days and nothing else...no treats or scraps. This is a bland diet and should firm up her stools if its just stress related. SHould it continue then a vet visit is a good idea.
