Sent to Pet Experts August 10, 2006 11:40 a.m.

I am wits ends my dog is going to be 4 years and has never gotten out of the chewing phase. And now she has issues with separation aniexity. She is a Lab and about 3 weeks ago she went for her distemper shot and i mentioned some of the problems we were having to the vet. She also destroyed the dog crate she would rock back and forth until she would actually move about the room bending the crate until you couldn't close the door. The vet prescribed Clomipramine once a day it started to work right away she has been on it for about 3 weeks now and it doesn't seem to be working now she is back to destroying furniture chewing up things urinating on the carpet. I had to take her with me last night to take my husband to work because we were not looking forward to a mess i love my dog very much but hubby is getting so angry he actually resents me for getting her we fight every time she doesn't something bad . Help me figure out what to do .
