Whats wrong with my Great Dane?

I have a Great Dane mix that has to very large(soft ball size) lumps on her bottom. they are located on each side of her tail. Can you tell me what they might be? She is a female a little more than 2 years old. We do have a regular Vet, however with school I realy can't aford to take her in. She is a healthy dog other than this. She's had these lumps for about a week and a half. Please let me know what this might be. I'm worried it might be cancerous or maybe tumors or maybe just spider bites. Either way I'm very concerned for her health.
