bloody urine

I have a Yorkie that is 5 years old. She has been having some blood tinged urine. Now she seems to be leaking like a milky looking substance at night when she sleeps. She started doing this after she was in heat for about 2 weeks. Everyone keeps telling me it sounds like kidney failure or some type of cancer. Please help me know what to do. I cant really afford to take her to the vet right now I am having some financial difficulties. Is my dog dying or is there something I can do to help her myself.

Age: 5; Female; Breed: yorkie

This could be a uterine infection or a bladder infection its hard to be sure from your description.
You can read about pyometra here

and about bladder infections here

She does need vet care to find out what is going on and to treat it.
www.carecredit.com may help you finance a vet visit. Your vet may let you do payments if you ask.
And this site may help you find financial aid

Hope this helps you!
