Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy) :) First off, congratulations on your new pet! I would give him 3 days or so to settle in, in which you don't disturb him but to check on his food and water. This will give him time to adjust to his new home and feel secure there. Another thing you can do is give him a sanctuary in his cage, a place that once he enters, (unless checking or treating for medical purposes,) you don't handle him. This will make him feel even more safe, as he knows he always has someplace to go where he won't be bothered. Guinea Pigs are prey items in nature, and therefore have a tendency to be nervous. They normally make a sort of squealing noise (which dosn't sound completely like a squeal unless they are 'yelling' or at least 'talking' loud enough) along with some teeth chattering. If you ever think the noises he's making could be a sign of a medical problem, make an appointment with your vet right away. If you have any further questions about your new furry friend, please don't hesitate to ask!
