Reply to TheCaretaker's Post: He is acting perfectly normal, energetic playful...just staying away from my daughter which is understandable. The blood is in the outer corners of his eyes from the pupil out,but not in the pupil.I could download a picture if that would help..but what address to send it too??

It really doesn't matter where the blood is in the eye, just that there is blood means there's been some internal bleeding.

Since it's been two days or more and you're convinced that there is no impairment in behavior, gait, the way he holds his head, his vision (his eyes aren't 'shaking'), there is no discharge or blood from the ears or nose, he eats, drinks and his potty habits are normal (no blood showing in feces or urine), he seems not to be sleeping too much (or inable to sleep) and overall sure he's not in pain, I'll hesitantly agree with a 'watch and wait' stance.

If you see the smallest indication of impairment, you may have less time than you think to get treatment. Brain swelling, spinal complications and more can be very serious.

How is your daughter doing? (What did she whack him with?).

You know, once this incident is behind you, it's an incredible experience for her to have this pup to grow up with, hopefully all the way through high school! It's amazing isn't it? To look at them both right now and imagine them in their teens Images available only to Customers.
