my cat named Boo is a 9 year old taby and has had recent problems urinating. About a month ago I noticed him straining and he had some blood in his urine. Went to the vet, he did a blood and urine analysis and urine culture as well as a ultra sound. The vet noticed a small mass in the ultra sound, which he said was probably was just a blood clot. The other tests came out o.k. (except that his ph levels were high). The vet gave us baytril and recommended we change is diet. We bought Hill's c/d , my cat hated it!!!! Went to petco bought him eukenuba wet and dry. He liked the dry not too crazy about the canned food. This past monday he again was straining, went back to the vet$$$$. Boo got checked out he wasn't blocked, the vet gave us uoreze and phenoxybenzamine and asked us to come back 2 weeks later when hopefully he is urinating normally and have another ultra sound to make sure there is nothing there. As you know the uroeze has to be mixed in his food, which now he refuses to eat. I had to get him a supermarket brand friskies (which my vet says is not good for boo) just so that he'll digest his medication. I am so worried about my cat, I don't know what to do to help him get better. Any advice would be very much appreciated
