My daughter's 4 year old mare cut her left fore leg(just above the hock) in the pasture 3 days ago. We have been treating it with Carona and wrapping it in fresh dressing daily. Now the wound is giving off yellow discharge and a very strong odor when we are changing it. What are your suggestions? She does not seem to be limping or bothered by it. Should we soak the leg? Call a vet in for an antibiotic?

Optional Information:
Age: 4; Female; Breed: Fresian/Arabian

Already Tried:
Carona,cleaning and dressing wound
