Chincillia Help

We have a chincillia, whose right paw seems to be swollen to the point whese she cannot always use her paw to eat. She also keeps it close to her chest when she is standing, but will continue to run on, and doesn’t seem to bother her when we touch it. My girlfriend thinks it might be a growth, but we are unsure of what it is. Any ideas?
