fleas

my 2 7 week old kittens have some fleas and we suspect we are seeing larva and eggs. I am told I cannot treat them until 8 weeks. What can I do? I bought a flea comb and its getting some but we found alot of eggs tonite. My house is going to be infested if i don't take care of this right now.

Hi Val,

For our young ones in rescue we use a product by Mycodex called Sensicare. It can be found at most vets offices as well as online. It has only a 24 hour residual and is extremely effective is treating the problem. It can also be used on their bedding and on furniture and carpets. It is non-toxic to children and other pets (except fish). I am sending you alink to a site that has it online if your vet does not carry it.
