I have recently adopted a stray cat that is quite thin,it is also occasionally coughing.It eats well and is very energetic.Could it have a respiratory infection?My husband doesnt want me to take it to the vet until we are sure we are going to keep it.The cat is about 3 mths. old ,his coat is very shiny and soft.He has no discharge from his mouth or nose.He doesnt have diarrhea,vomiting or excessive thirst.He has been here for 24 hrs. and is very friendly.
