I had my 4-month old femail aussie spayed 4 days ago.

I had my 4-month old femail aussie spayed 4 days ago. There is swelling on one side of the incision approximately the size of a 2 inches long and 1 inch across. It this a normal occurance, or should I can her vet?

Some swelling is normal after a spay procedure, but if the area is red and hot to the touch, this means there is an infection present. Keep her from licking the area as much as possible. If the are is red and hot, you will need to call your vet as she will need antibiotic treatment for this. Good luck and hope your girl feels better soon and good for you for having her spayed :)
