I have an english bull dog,he has a lump under his tounge, on the right side. The lump feels as thou it is in his throat to. The vet said he has a blocked salvia gland, and is in need of extensive surgery. How ever he gave me no imformation on this. Is it common for this type of dog to have this problem? How is the surgery done? Why did this happen? He is only 9 months old. Please send me any imformation you have on this. Thank You ,Sherry Glisson
