Injured baby animal

Sent to Pet Experts June 23 02:28 PM

I have a very small baby bunny that has been hit by a lawn mower, her front paw is cut off, but no bleeding. Her eyes aren't even open yet, but I live in a rural area and have no way to get the baby rabbit to the wildlife shelter that is about 40 min. from my home. Should I keep the animal in the house or put it back outside in it's nest for it's mother to try and feed tonight? The shelter said bring it to them as soon as possible but that may be tomorrow if the bunny makes it through the night. She is still breathing and seems to be sleeping right now. I'm very afraid that she will die if I can't do something for her some. Should I try to feed her some goats milk or what? Please help!
