Urine sugar elevation can occur from many things. She may have been scared when she went to the vet and the urine showed positive. (If a kid ran out in front of your car and you slammed on the brakes, your urine would show sugar after a period of time because of release of epinephrine).   She may have gotten something to eat and the glucose elevated in the urine, but was back to normal in the blood. It happens all the time. That's why we can't make a diagnosis from only one test.

The Calcium level is the same thing. There are some hypercalcemic conditions like parathyroid gland tumors, but until we have two or more elevated calcium tests, running parathormone levels would be unnecessary.
