My 8 month old min pin was neutered, 12 days later he started having neck pain. He was treated with Rimadyl and a muscle relaxer which did not help. The vet decided that a neck x-ray was in order which required him to be put to sleep. The x-ray was done, the tech took him off the anethesia and he went into cardiac arrest, they revived his heart but he did not regain conscious. The nerve movements were only from the shoulders down. His neck disc had collapsed and he had water around the membranes of his lungs which the vet stated caused the cardiac arrest. We decided to let him go. But, we don't have a reasonable answer as the why this happened. Can you assist?
