HI- I have a black lab that is prone to ear

HI-

I have a black lab that is prone to ear infections from allergies. I had her to the vet yesterday because she has been shaking her head and crying when we touched her head area. The vet told me that her ears were fine. She is obviously in pain from something and has not been herself. She is tilting her head sideways and cries when she yawns.   What could be wrong with her?
