Hi. I have a 15-month old yellow lab that is all energy. He has a nearly undetectable injury to one of his foot pads. I have taken him to the vet and was given antibiotics. The problem got a little better, but he seems to irritate the foot periodically as seen by a slight limp. I want to take him on walks on the street, but this seems to be bothering the foot.

I don't think he needs stitches, is there anything I can do to encourage the healing of the pad, or is there anything that I can put on the pad to toughen it up?

Optional Information:
Age: 1; Male; Breed: Lab

Already Tried:
Antibiotics-Does not appear tobe currently infected.
