I have a 1 year old Maltese. She has been very healthy until a week and a half ago. About every other morning she would throw up a yellow foamy bile looking substance. I called her vet and she said to give her a snack before bed. this did not stop it. I took her to the vet yesterday and the vet could not find anything. She gave her a liquid called Radlen (I think ) I forgot it in my husbands truck tonight and he isn't home yet. I gave it to her last night and this morning she threw up again. Thru out the day she seemed fine and at 5:00 pm she started throwing up again. She threw up 3 times and is now sleeping. I called her vet and she said take her food and water away and give her 1/2 teaspoom of peptobismo. Am I over-reacting to think my vet isn't concerned enough? I am sick with worry. Thank you for any advice you can offer me. The vet also said if she isn't better in the morning to bring her back.
