Question

I have a 6 month old Boston Terrier/Beagle mix. Last night

Sent to Pet Experts June 01, 2006 4:25 p.m.

I have a 6 month old Boston Terrier/Beagle mix. Last night I notices a small bump on her left eye brow. It apprears under the bump several smaller looking bumps or bites. I felt the actual bump at it feels like it is filled with liquid.
Could this just be a skin irritation or should I bring her to the vet to be checked out? It appears not to cause her any pain and it has not grown in size.
Thanks for any help you can might give.

Sounds like an insect bite. Dogs can react to mosquito or fly bites etc. You can see if using some Benadryl cream on the spot will help. Just make sure not to get any in her eye when you put it on.
If it gets bigger or a scab forms see your vet to have it checked out for skin mites or infection.
Hope this helps you!
