My son in Japan has a Chihuahua. A good time back, she seemd to develop a stiff neck. Vet thought she sneezed to hard and strained it. Made sence to me. But over the past few months has gotten worse. And now she has gone blind and is scared because she cant see anything. My son does not speak much Japanese(navy boy), and does not think he has a good understanding of what the problem is. Other than is is common in chihuahuas. Can you tell me anything that may be causing this? Thank you. sharill57@yahoo.com

There are a plethora of sites referring to Chihuahuas and blindness...I'm not sure someone can give too much more light on this situation without a lot more details about what has been happening, time frame, etc.

You might try either web searching for "Chihuahua blindness", or get more details from your son and Reply here.
