Hi, I need to know a few things to help you. How old is your horse? What breed? What condition is he in? Could he have been hurt and you don't know it? kicked? fell? You have to be my eyes because I can't see him. Front or back of knee? How far down? Tell me as much as you can I will be glad to try and help you.Do you work him hard? Can you think of anything different that could have happened 3-4 weeks ago?

Hi! Ok, heres some more info. About 3 months ago my horse got a bad trim job..and he has had ligament problems ever since. They have gotten better but the knee thing just popped up 2 to 3 weeks ago. He defanitly could have done something to it I just dont know what. He is 8 years old and a Thoroughbred. I have had him for 3 years and nothing like this has ever happened..I dont really work him hard..every once in a while I will. I can't think of anything different that has happened. The swelling is in the front of the knee (but still also a little swollen behind) And in the leg right below the knee...it bulges outward. I hope this is of some help..let me know if you need to know anything else.
