Question

My 3 yr old yellow lab has a urine 'leakin' ...

My 3 yr old yellow lab has a urine 'leakin' problem. Tests show no uti and x ray of kidney ok. Any sugestions on vet followup. They want to x-ray or ultra-sound stomach before using a prescription.

I would ask them how the testing would change treatment. If it wouldn't then ask why not try a trial of the medication to see if that works.
If they suspect bladder tumors/polyps then ruling them out would be a good idea. Discuss with the vet what they want to rule out with the tests.
If she is spayed a hormone related incontinence isn't unreasonable to suspect and a trial of meds might tell you if that is the problem.
