My small 2 pound yorkie was injected with kenalog last week and had completely stopped scratiching but seems to be out of it. She seems very tired and not herself , is this a normal side effect???

Dear friend,

Kenalog is a steroid and pretty powerful for a two lb tiny Yorkie. Make sure she is not hypolycemic by putting 2 drops of karo syrup directly on her tongue.

If she does not immediately improve, please have the vet look at her again.
