Hi Howard:

If you believe your dog of 14lbs ate rat/mouse poison, you really need to get to your vet asap as the Vit. K1 needs to be administered by injection at first and then follow up with capsules provided by your vet for a specific amount of time. If she did this in the last hour, please induce vomiting by giving her 1-2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide while someone calls the vet. Good luck and well wishes for a speedy recovery.

Reply to Gina's Post: Thanks for your help.

We are very rural so going to vet is not an option until morning.

We induced vomitting with the Hydroden Peroxide. It worked almost immediately and we saw small amount of the D-Con granules.   It was a complete emptying of the stomach. It has been over 2 hours at this point and she seems just fine.

We believe if there's any even left in her at this point it would be very small.

Thanks
