Our 43 day old male foal has exhibited noisy breathing - not sounds of congestion, but as if his nostrils were rattling - for 24 hours now. No nasal discharge, no reluctance to exercise, eating & drinking normally, no fever or muscle spasms or signs of swelling or pain anywhere on his body. Just this bizarre noisy breathing. He has full access to 20 acres of pasture and controlled access to grain twice a day as well as nursing with his dam still, not confined to a stall or tiny paddock at all. Should we have the vet out or wait and see? Thanks
