my rot/chow (100#)has severe pain,howels when he tries to move, seems to have trouble making his hind legs move

you need to get him to a vet immediately! he could have a spinal cord injury or an obstruction in his bowels that is causing him such pain. any time an animal howls when it tries to move it is urgent that he see a vet asap. if you have an emergency vet in your area you need to take him there right away.
