I have a 13 week old minschnauzer/cocker mix. He has had diarreah (not bloody, rarely mucousy, mostly piles or watery) going on for 2 weeks now. I took him to the vet and he did have eggs in his stool for worms. The vet gave him a treatment and said it would take a couple of days - maybe a week for him to get better. It's been 4 days now and at first it got a little better but its's back. My puppy shows no other signs of sickness. No fever, lots of energy, eats and drinks well, sleeps soundly, always ready to play, no runny eyes, always alert, etc. If he didn't have the diarreah you would think he was as healthy as could be. What is your opinion?
